Ryo Sumita / 住田 諒
Filmmaker / Photographer / Drone Pilot
1991年静岡生まれ。学生時代、趣味の登山をきっかけにカメラを始め、その後音楽活動の中でMV制作に携わったことをきっかけに映像制作の道へ進みました。大学卒業後、5年間会社員を経験したのち、2019年9月にフリーランスの映像クリエイターとして独立。現在は7年目を迎え、国内外で幅広い映像・写真制作を行っています。
Born in Shizuoka in 1991, he first started photography through his passion for hiking.
Later, while being involved in music, he created music videos and became deeply interested in filmmaking. After working as a full-time employee for five years, he became an independent freelance filmmaker in September 2019. He is now in his seventh year as a freelance creator, working across a wide range of projects in Japan and internationally.

Instagramでは約2ヶ月で10,000フォロワーを達成し、現在は12,000フォロワー以上。フォロワーの約75%は、日本に関心を持つ海外ユーザーです。Facebookでも32,000人以上に向けて発信しており、映像・写真制作だけでなく、海外旅行者に届くSNSコンテンツの視点も強みとしています。
Alongside client work, Ryo shares travel content focused on scenic destinations and hidden gems in Japan and around the world for inbound audiences.
He grew his Instagram audience to 10,000 followers in just two months and currently has over 12,000 followers, with around 75% of them being international users interested in Japan. He also reaches more than 32,000 followers on Facebook, bringing not only production skills but also a strong understanding of how to create content for international audiences.

イギリスを中心に約3年半ヨーロッパを拠点に活動していた経験があり、これまで訪れた国は38カ国にのぼります。
イギリス、スペイン、モロッコ、チュニジア、フランス、インド、タイ、台湾など、さまざまな国で撮影経験があり、海外でのクライアントワークにも対応してきました。国内外の視点をつなぐ映像表現を得意としています。
Ryo spent around three and a half years based mainly in the UK while working across Europe as a freelance creator.
He has visited 38 countries and has filming experience in the UK, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia, France, India, Thailand, Taiwan, and more. He also has extensive overseas client work experience, bringing an international perspective to his visual storytelling.
