■ プロジェクト概要 (About the Project)
日本を代表する登山専門誌『山と溪谷』の別冊付録にて、台湾の山岳地帯の魅力を伝える特集記事の撮影を担当しました。登山YouTuberでありモデルの山下真弓さんの現地での取材にカメラマンとして同行し、登山の様子や美しい自然風景を撮影しました。
I handled the photography for a special supplement in "Yama-to-Keikoku," Japan's leading mountaineering magazine, featuring the appeal of Taiwan's mountainous regions. I accompanied mountaineering YouTuber and model Mayumi Yamashita on her expedition, documenting her journey and the stunning natural landscapes.
■ 撮影のアプローチとこだわり (Behind the Scenes / My Approach)
約1週間にわたり、台北近郊の山々から台湾最高峰である玉山（標高3,952m）まで、本格的な海外山岳取材に帯同しました。自身の長年にわたる登山経験と海外での活動経験を活かし、変化の激しい高所や慣れない海外のフィールドにおいても、安全を確保しながらモデルの豊かな表情と台湾特有の壮大な風景を確実に捉えています。過酷な長期山岳遠征に耐えうる体力と、取材チームの一員としての高い適応力を発揮したプロジェクトです。
Over the course of about a week, I served as the expedition photographer, covering trails from the mountains around Taipei all the way to Taiwan's highest peak, Mt. Yushan (3,952m). Leveraging my extensive mountaineering background and international field experience, I safely navigated the challenging high-altitude environments to capture the model's authentic expressions and Taiwan's unique, grand-scale landscapes. This project showcases not only my photographic skills but also my physical endurance for multi-day alpine expeditions and my adaptability within an overseas production team.
